Firewalls need the appliance plus a protection subscription. Antivirus and MDR are licensed per user or server. We size both and track every renewal date.

Is Sophos Intercept X a good antivirus for businesses?
Yes. Intercept X combines antivirus with anti-ransomware, exploit prevention, and machine learning, and is managed centrally from Sophos Central. Adding XDR or MDR gives you detection and response on top.
